Over the past three years covering the communities of southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa, I have learned a tremendous amount about news and the people that make news. It has been my privilege to tell these stories. From the anchor desk to the cornfields to the basketball courts, I have a broad-based experience and learned so much in the process.

When I arrived at KTTC in 2021, I was a general assignment reporter, covering several big breaking news stories in addition to enterprise topics in politics, urban development, and agriculture.

Over the course of my KTTC experience, my role has developed to be much broader. I went from general assignment reporting to being an evening anchor, strengthening my writing and on-camera presence. I have become more sensitive to what resonates with viewers, and I have tried to incorporate what I have learned into all of my content creation.
I believe I have become my station's biggest utility player. My ability to anchor and report has allowed me to take on several, different responsibilities.
For example, when our station expanded its programming, I was asked to be more versatile and continue being the "team player." I helped kickstart the station's brand-new weekend morning newscasts.

I have also covered local sports, including teams that made state championship runs. I wrote/edited several highlights for our primetime newscasts. KTTC has a rich legacy of covering local sports, and I am thankful to have done my part in moving that reputation forward.

When you review my body of work, I hope that you have a flavor of my versatility and strengths.
